Technical Description
The DiMES UI operates in a Microsoft Internet Explorer intranet environment and uses a traditional web page structure.
The presentation tier uses XSLT/XML and JavaScript to render the screens from Server Side Javascript and is hosted on Microsoft IIS. (The business and data tiers were implemented by the software development team using Microsoft Biztalk and SQL Server). Technologies used in the UI include:
- HTC Component behaviors to promote reuse of controls (calendars)
- XMLHTTP and SQL Server 2000 XSD updategrams to access data
The development tools used to construct the UI include:
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- XML Spy (XSLT Translator)
The Grizzard Agency traces its roots back to the very earliest days of direct marketing. While tradesmen of the past were delivering their wares by horse-and-buggy, Claude T.
